Giant for a day

Whenever I wear a heel of any kind, I always end up feeling, well, like a giant. Today was no exception. I had bought this dress on Christmas eve (along with my Christmas eve dress, very similar, I know) and I thought it would look really nice with these high heel boots that I have. Now, high heel for me is usually like a half an inch. That is all I can handle. But still, I feel really, really tall. I got a lot of compliments on my outfit today from students and staff alike, and many commented on my height. I think I am double the size of some of our freshmen, ha. But I liked how the whole look came together and since it wasn't freezing out today, I was able to get some nice outdoors shots. Now I need to help Dame with dinner, do some school work and then head off to a boys basketball game. Enjoy your night!

  3. Being vertically challenged, everyone always seems to be a little more gifted with height than I am, but I don't think you look overly tall. You look great in the dress and it suits you well.

  8. I think you look fabulous in this. The dress really suits you. I was actually surprised to see that you could wear this to school- I remember when there was a length requirement at UHS for students!

  11. I think the dress does look great with the boots! As they say on what not to wear, own that height! If you're already tall, what's another couple of inches? Of course, I'm short -- really short -- so I cannot speak from experience, but I can see you look great in heels!

  13. Browsing through your posts and seeing so many pictures I have to say you should wear heels more often, this style totally suits you! Is this half-inch-policy because you're concerned you'd look too high or just because you think you can't handle any higher ones because they're uncomfortable?
Anyway, you know better than I do...just wanted to encourage you - you look really good (the dress is nice as well)!
