Afternoon hike

What a beautiful weekend! I so hope that it is here to stay. Yesterday Damien and I spent the day at Ikea, making our final decisions on our new furniture for our basement. We are super excited to have the basement done and be able to finalize our vision for what it will be like. There will be an office for him, a living space, an arts and crafts area, a lot of storage space and some other cool features. We can't wait.

Today, we got up and decided to take advantage of the beautiful day. We headed out to a nice hiking spot in our town that neither one of us has ever really taken advantage of. It was a great afternoon. Damien took a bunch of pictures and we spent a few hours walking and exploring. The weather was perfect and it just felt so good to be outside with the sunshine on my face.
