01.02.10

So this is not what I wore today. This is what I wore on Saturday (hence the title to the post). The new year started off slowly, which I kind of enjoyed. Damien had new years day off with me and neither one of us got out of our pjs all day long. We actually never left the house. Sometimes that feels so nice, especially when it is with someone else. We read, watched some 30 Rock, cooked, listened to music, enjoyed being with one another. Oh, and we slept really late. I hardly ever do that anymore and sometimes it just feels so good. Saturday was spent running around to a few different parties. We had Damien's family yankee swap during the day and our friends' dvd yankee swap in the evening. Both were fun and it was nice to see some friends that we hadn't seen in awhile. And then Sunday came. And since I hadn't stuck to my goal of doing my school work before Sunday, I spent the morning getting prepped for today. Then it was off to my uncle's birthday/retirement party in western MA. We had fun and got to see some family that we hardly ever see anymore. Today it was back to reality, back to school. Honestly, the worst part is the anticipation of going back to school. Once I am there, I am happy to be back, happy to be doing what I love to do. I hope everyone had a wonderful start to 2010...

  2. I feel the same way about work - the anticipation of going back is much worse than actually going back. Although I'm still kind of out of it. I haven't been able to really focus yet.
You look fabulous in this, by the way. Super flattering!

  3. Your New Year's Day sounds just like mine! Aren't those days just the best? (Even though sometimes I do feel a little guilty when I lounge around, but then I just tell myself I need this. LOL)

You look super cute (like always) and I am still loving that belt!

Hope your week back is going well so far. :)
