Blood drive

Today was another busy day. I had to get to school early because the American Red Cross was coming today to do a blood drive sponsored by our Student Council. When I got dressed this morning, I decided that I was going to dress for the occasion, knowing that I would not only be in charge of running the event with the students, but that I was also donating and wanted to be comfy. The drive was a big success and I even got to do the new process in which they remove double red blood cells and then you actually get back your own plasma. It was really interesting how it worked and I was glad to be able to help out! I was at school til 5 again this evening and then to the gym and home to eat. Next stop is the shower and then my bed. I am so happy that tomorrow is Friday, although final exams start for us tomorrow. Our poor students!!! Hope you all have a wonderful Friday; I know I need it!
