Weardrobe sessions-I'm sick

I am sick. Not sick enough to stay home from school, just sick enough to feel terrible the entire time I am there and to keep me from being able to go for my nightly walk. Oh, and sick enough to have Damien go the grocery store without me, so it's not all bad. I hate being sick (who doesn't) and I am really bad at being sick. I get all mopey and all around down in the dumps. I had mono a few years ago, with a touch of strep throat on top of it followed by the flu and a cold. I worked one day in the month of December that year. Not a very productive year. Don't get me wrong, I am so very lucky that I am generally a healthy person. I know that. I guess this is just a reminder of how fortunate I actually am.

Today's outfit was the I-am-sick-but-I-am-going-to-try-not-to-show-it outfit. It is also the warm-spell-at-the-end-of-the-summer/beginning-of-fall outfit. Hopefully tomorrow's outfit will be the Wow-I-am-feeling-so-much-better outfit. I'll let you know!

black/white fedora- F21 $12(ish)
faux black leather jacket- F21 $30
grey/black striped tunic- F21 $19
black pencil skirt- Wet Seal $12
black trouser socks- Target $2
black flats- Old Navy $15

  5. @D- Thanks. I have actually been teaching for about 8 years now so I was hoping my body would get used to it. I don't think it ever does!

about the dots. It is a combination of dust or water spots with the flash. I kind of liked what it did to this picture here!

@Amy-I am feeling a bit better today so thanks.

@Kel-Miss you and hope you feel better too.
