We arrived at the grand canyon mid afternoon and started our hike down right around 3:30pm. We ended up hiking to the 1.5 mile point before turning around. The thing about the canyon is that with each switchback, each twist and turn, the scene changes and you have to stop and take it all in. And that is exactly what we did. It was a harder hike than I remembered it to be. Max certainly had the best seat in the house, hanging out on Damien's back. I will let the pictures speak for themselves.

i want to take my family next year but ive never been before nor know anything about the area so i want to plan accordingly as far as hotels and all that.
