This weekend did not start off so great for me. I don't know if it was the fact that there was snow on the ground (which I have gotten very used to not having this winter) or that fact that it was raining, or the fact that I went back to sleep after being up for only a short period of time (Damien and I switch off every weekend day getting up with Max; it was his turn), but I felt terrible and was sort of in a terrible mood. I have been trying to come up with different ways of getting in more style shots on my blog again. It is way too hard during the week, especially during the winter months, to try and get any kind of decent picture. I used to do them myself, but I always like them so much more when Damien takes them. Quality over quantity, right? I have been planning out outfits and keeping them in the notes section of my phone (although this seems like the perfect solution) and have considered doing a bunch of photos on the weekends, when we have the time, of various outfits. I figured it would be a nice time to recreate the looks that I had come up with during the week. So when Saturday's weather didn't agree with me, it soured me a little. We did finally get out the door and we took some pictures, but only of the casual weekend wear that I had managed to throw on my grumpy self.
In happier news, Max must have read my 11 things post because he slept until 8am this morning. Of course I was wide awake at 6....
trench- Target
hooded sweater- Into the Wardrobe (thrifted)
black skinnies- Marshalls
brown fringe boots- Target
I felt the same way this weekend. I think I have been spoiled with not having snow and didn't realize how much I was enjoying it until we actually got some. I like your casual style. I can't wait to be able to fit into my regular clothes again.
ReplyDeleteThat hoodie looks really comfy... I wish we had snow here in LA.
