Meet Max

We are having a boy! A Max, to be exact. We found out on Tuesday and it was a super emotional day. When we went in, the tech asked if we had a preference before she started the ultrasound. I said girl, since that is what a. I wanted and b. I figured we were having since everyone around us is having a girl. As soon as she put the tool on my belly, she said that we were definitely having a boy. "No mistake about this one" I think were her exact words. So, as our good friend pointed out, I guess Damien and I do just have to be different from everyone else around us.

Now comes the fun part of starting the nursery. We already have some ideas but can't wait to think of more and start really working on it. What an emotional, exciting and all-around crazy time. We are trying to enjoy every minute of it.

So in honor of little Max, I finally have some pregnant belly shots. I'm still not really showing that much but I definitely have a belly. I also was playing around with the pictures a bit so they look a little retro. Not sure if it's overkill but I like the general idea of it. I'll keep working at it.
