Blue week

Funny that I tend to buy things that all end up being the same color in certain shopping outings. I don't start off trying to do so but I end up being drawn to a color and then finding a bunch of different things in the same color, of slightly different hues. So this has been a blue week for me. I really love the color of this tunic and I love the cut too. And the fact that it has an elastic waistband is perfect for the expanding belly that will be coming soon. I am showing a tiny bit but still not enough to look pregnant, just enough to look like I am gaining weight. Ha. That is fun. But every night I rub my belly before I fall asleep because I know that there is someone in there, even if s/he is not showing to the rest of the world yet. I know my kitty Prudence knows too because she has become such a lap kitty, laying across my belly every second she gets. She is trying to keep our baby nice and warm. I just hope she doesn't try and do the same come summer time!

I am so excited for tomorrow as I am headed into Boston for the weekend. My best friends from college and I are doing a weekend get-together and it is going to be a blast. We have been able to see each other more lately since we have been getting married and turning 30 but this will be nice just to spend time together, not having to do a million things, just enjoying each other's company. We don't have anything huge planned, which is fine by me (and fine by all of us). I just wish the weather was supposed to be a little better, but we'll make do. And of course I will miss you honey!

And then I am on April break! Oh, man, I have been looking forward to this. It is definitely needed for students and teachers alike. I will be sure to take a bunch of pictures over the weekend and Damien and I have been planning our first maternity pictures, we just want to wait until I actually look pregnant. Think Mad Men though...

Oh, and congrats to Jen and her news of her baby girl. So exciting!

my belly grew so fast that i only was in that weird "is she fat/is she pregnant?" stage for about 3 days. one of the benefits of having twins, i guess! ;)
