Weardrobe sessions

Wow. I am beat. I don't know if it is the new schedule at school, or just the fact that I am back at school, but when I get home, I am exhausted. It's strange but I think I know exactly (or nearly exactly) how the freshmen feel the first few weeks of school. Learning a new schedule isn't easy, especially when you are used to the same one you have been following for 8 years. But, we all adjust, right? I keep telling myself that!

So Damien and I have been working on my site. Right now we are playing around with colors (that's why it looks different than normal) and as I said before, he bought me the domain smalltownchic.com. I also found some amazingly great paper dolls online and so my site is going to be centered around them. Oh, and polaroids, our favorite way to take pictures. He is going to scan in the doll and clothes and work on the design and layout and hopefully we will have it up and running soon. He has also been working on his website so again, check it out if you haven't already (and even if you have!). He is just getting started doing high school senior portraits and has been doing a bunch of family portraits. And weddings too. He is so good at everything he does.

When I got dressed this morning, I fell in love with this dress that I had bought right before school started. I love the lace and the belt. I got it at Wet Seal and the leggings are from Charlotte Russe. They are great since they are leggings but look denim. I am sure I will get a lot of wear out of them. The boots are my trusty Merrills (Marshalls, $99 or so). I like the 80s look to this outfit. Since I was only 11 when the 80s ended, I am kind of happy they made a comeback. Some of the stuff is so much fun.

(oh, and by the way, when I got to my student council meeting last night, I was wearing a hot pink shirt with my dark skinny jeans and F21 black faux leather jacket and one the girls screamed across the room, Mrs. Gaudet, you look like Barbie! Not exactly what I was going for but pretty funny).
