Weardrobe sessions-a night out on the town (or city)

One of my best friends from college called me yesterday to tell me that she would be in Boston tonight (she lives in DC) and when I realized that I had no plans for the evening, I jumped at the opportunity to see her. It has been so hot out lately and I want to wear something that I will be cool enough in, although we are headed out to eat which means most likely, AC. So... I tried on a few options but I think I have narrowed it down to the black/floral/gold dress from Forever 21. I always joke about this store, now calling it Forever 30 (you can figure out why) but honestly, I can always find something that I love there. The other outfits I will definitely wear in the coming days; I just need to find somewhere to go!
