31 weeks

I have my 31 week appointment tomorrow!  I was officially 31 weeks on Tuesday but didn't get a chance to do pictures since I was in New York visiting my aunt and uncle.  I finally made it out to the memorial behind our house to do some self-style pictures again.  It is literally in our backyard but I have just been so hot and lazy that I haven't gone back there.  They have done a lot of work back there; it looks great.  It is where Damien does most of his senior photos (if you haven't checked out his photography lately, go check it now!)  He really has been so busy lately which is exciting.  He's been doing weddings, family portraits and senior portraits lately and he keeps getting better and better.

I have to say I have been getting more and more excited for the day Max arrives.  When we first found out I was pregnant, it was a shock.  Not a bad one, but a shock nonetheless.  But over these past 7 months, I have fallen in love with the little guy inside my belly (weird and awkward, I know), waiting anxiously for the day he arrives.  I know our lives are going to change but I am ready and wouldn't want things any other way.  I can't wait to share our self-style pictures because god knows this little guy won't be able to be camera shy!

Oh, and I ended up finding a dress for the wedding Saturday.  I will have pictures up sometime next week...

straw fedora- Damien's
white sleeveless blouse- F21 $12
skinny jeans- Wet Seal $15
flip flops- Walmart $2

  1. Not weird and awkward at all. One of the most beautiful parts of bringing life into the world is how amazingly intense your love for the little one can be. I thought I loved my husband more than anything (which I still do) but the love for your child is easily 10x that. Revel in it!!!
