Wow.
Max is here. I am not even sure how to write this post because I feel like everything that I knew before has completely changed in the span of 48 hours. All I can say is that I am in love, I am in awe and I am eternally grateful for this little man that is now inhabiting my living room.
Max Joseph Gaudet was not due to be born until Tuesday September 21. I had it marked on my iPhone calendar and everything. It simply said Max on that date. But, as my brother pointed out to me, we took the meaning of Labor Day weekend very seriously. Well, Max did.
He ended up coming 2 and 1/2 weeks early, Saturday September 4, 2010 at 11:11pm. He is a peanut, only 5 lbs 11 ounces and 19 inches long. He is healthy, happy and beautiful.
I have so much to say but right now, I will leave you with this image. I will write about his birth in a later post. I just want to snuggle up with my little guy and welcome him to our small humble home which will be forever changed because now it is complete.
He's beautiful! Congratulations!!
